Emily Marquis (she/her) is a West coast born copywriter and brand strategist. At the start of her career, her wandering soul carried her to Madrid, Spain as an English instructor and global traveler. After a year of constant movement and adoration for the larger world, Emily returned to San Diego in 2017 and synergistically met Traci in a local coffeehouse, immediately drawn to her commitment empowering brands and businesses through purposeful and feel-good marketing efforts. Soon after meeting Emily began immersing herself in the work of Kiss the Ground and Yoga Is, Online - two of CHC's foundational clients.
To learn the avenues of a large corporation, Emily moved to Los Angeles where she would support the brand development of General Motors and Genentech Ophthalmology at global agency Weber Shandwick, making her mark in event marketing, social content development, and media relations. Meet Sarah Lipsett Community Manager and Digital Event Producer
Sarah Lipsett (she/her) is a marketing consultant, digital space producer, and facilitator with a knack for compassionately helping socially conscious entrepreneurs and organizations take their work to the next level, from concept to execution.
She was thrilled to join the Coffeehouse Collective team in 2020, and has so far had the pleasure of managing projects for Pass the Honey, a brand working to evolve apiary practices and ecological diversity.
Whether she’s teaching wellness leaders how to create and monetize their offers, directing trainings for nonprofits, or producing large-scale online events and campaigns, the core of Sarah’s work is a genuine care for the wellbeing of everyone she encounters. She loves turning clients’ complex visions into tangible, digestible, and desirable offerings. She’s great at giving clients timely words of affirmation, and also doesn’t shy away from telling them what they need to hear to get out of their own way.
Before she jumped into the consulting world full time, Sarah spent more than a decade drawing on her empathy and sharpening her listening skills as an academic advisor in higher education. And even though her broadcast journalism degree from CU Boulder left her disillusioned with the mainstream media landscape, that experience was where she fell in love with producing content.
When she’s not helping clients evolve and level up, she loves spoiling her sweet cat James, experimenting with vegan recipes and natural wines, exploring her home state’s infinite hiking trails, and supporting anti-capitalist yoga spaces. At the moment, she lives on Indigenous Cheyenne and Arapaho land (also known as Denver, Colorado) and hangs out on Instagram at @sarahalipsett.
Our team also includes a collective of graphic designers, website developers, copywriters and content creators to meet the customized service needs of our clients.
